What is Joint Pain?

There are a few different types of joint pain that presents itself in one joint. For example, pain in the knee joint is the most commonly damaged joint and can be vulnerable due to the fact that it takes the full weight of your body. However, this does not necessarily mean that all knee pain is a joint problem. Additionally, when you injure your knee, the joint can become painful again. This may be because the thin layer of tissue that lines the joints could be inflamed. This condition is called traumatic synovitis.

If you have pain in multiple areas, there are a few different reasons why this may occur. One example is rheumatoid arthritis. This form of arthritis can cause pain and swelling in multiple places around the body, including the hands, wrists and feet. This type of joint pain may come and go and it can generally make you feel tired and sick.

There are also viruses that can cause arthritis and joint pain. Some examples of these are viral hepatitis and rubella. If you are worried about any joint pain, please consult your doctor before any self-diagnosis.
